Hi My name is Bert. I am a goldfish as you can see. And yes, I can talk. You can can't you? I am a virtual pet created by Lyfe, Ayperi, and Mamma. Let me tell you the story about me. Lyfe and Ayperi were being onery little children, but then again most children can be at times. They found me in a pond down the road from Mamma's house. They then took me home to Mamma. She had a bowl and gave me a very nice home.

One day Lyfe and Ayperi decided that the cat looked hungry. They wanted me to feed that nasty ol' cat. So they climbed on a chair to take my bowl off the shelf. And yes of course it was heavy. Lyfe, the youngest, decided to climb a little higher to see if she could reach me better. Ayperi was holding the 2 chairs they had stacked up to get up to the shelf.

All of a sudden.........
BOOM! BANG! Down came Lyfe, Ayperi, the chairs, and of course me.

Well, you guess what happened. The cat, Lyfe, Ayperi, and Mamma's antique chairs got soaked. My bowl got broke and there I was flopping all bubbles

around because I can't breathe out of water. Lyfe grabbed me and stuck me in an old stinky boot. She filled it with water and said, "There you go Bert," just like nothing had happened. Can you imagine how I felt? Well, in the meantime, Ayperi caught the cat and tried drying him off. They decided to dry the cat in the microwave.....Kids don't ever play with the microwave! It's dangerous and poor Ayperi and Lyfe could have hurt that poor cat!

Thank Goodness, Mamma came home right then. She saved the cat and me. She blow dried the cat with a hair dryer, scolded Lyfe and Ayperi, and put me in a glass with fresh water. Boy! Am I glad.

For now, I live in a glass. Mamma says that when she can afford one she's going to get me an aquarium to live in. But, it will be a little while. In the meantime, Mamma keeps me up out of reach of Lyfe and Ayperi.

She sometimes lets them feed me goodies, like: muddy buddies, worms, marshmallows, and etc. But she won't let them feed me any of that green stuff they made. Hmmmm I wonder what that is? Well, that's another story I may tell you later.
